Welcome to PDMGTC B.ED College

One of the great philanthropists of Saurashtra late Shri Vasantbhai Malaviya laid the foundation stone of this teacher education institute in 1962 by offering a considerable amount of donation in the auspicious name of his beloved father, SHRI POPATLAL DHANJIBHAI MALAVIYA. Thus, this institute was established with generous purpose of preparing good and efficient teachers for Saurashtra Region.

Shri A. P. Oza & Shri S. D. Vyas was founder principals of this college. In those days, this institute was considered unique & the best of its type in Saurashtra Sub region. Under the skilled guidance & foresight of our predecessors, this institute has set benchmarks in the area of teacher education by preparing a host of committed, efficient & skilled teachers. These teachers have contributed a lot to the academic world and provided direction to social reconstruction of the society. The institute is still striving to achieve its goals by following the footprints of its founders and predecessors.
